GUCCI f/w 11/12

I must show you these great inspirations for me. The fall/winter collections of a few brands just amazed me but hey, i was expecting some pretty good stuff from them and they managed to beat all my expectations (as usual). I wanted to show you a few pieces from the f/w 11/12 GUCCI collection as a starter and in the next posts i am going to show you other, magnificent inspiring collections.

The colours in this collection are just out of this world!! Amazingly selected and combined, they just left me speechless. I am going to show you a few photos from the show just to give you the main idea and if you want to see the whole collection, simply click here. Or you could just watch the show here.

Aren't the colours amazing! I love the transparent dresses and the snake patterns on coats,skirts and bags..I also adore the sunglasses( after all, i am obsessed with sunglasses)!!

So, that's for now and in the next post i am going to show you another famous and stunning collection...CHRISTIAN DIOR..Ahhh...You are going to fall in love with it, i guarantee!

Autumn and winter

Admit it- the leaves are soon gonna start falling and the weather is going to change; But you know what? As strange as it may seem i am kinda looking forward to it! I even started looking for fluffy winter hats, boots and greatcoats (found some really awesome stuff, which you are going to see in the next post)! I believe that this is the first time in my life..I used to hate autumn, especially those really rainy days but for my surprise this season i want to take advantage of every day! So buckle up and expect the coming post..It's going to be very very cool..Love,

Little delay

My sweet chameleons, i know i promised to publish the photos today but i am having some trouble with my internet connection and i have to use my phone instead. So i believe that the problem is going to be solved by tomorrow, which means that you'll have the photos then..

First giveaway?

My sweet chameleons,
I have a little surprise for you! I am going to post a few photos of clothes i have mentioned before, but never actually showed you photos of them...What i want you to do is simple- just guess the brand, the colour and the type of the garment. For example: ZARA, pink, skirt..See, how simpler could it be...Not so simple if you ask me, cause i did my best in trying to make those photos unrecognizable..I am so bad but hey, you guys are the best, so a little challange won't stop you, will it?

Dolce and Gabbana review fall/winter 2011/2012

Oh, i haven''t done a review for such a long time! Let me see if i remember how it's done.
 So i wanted to make a review for you guys and i kept thinking about what to write. I don't know where it came from but suddenly i just knew that it had to be about Dolce and Gabbana. When i saw the collection i was like..(clap)!! Seriously, it is absolutely amazing! It's magnificent! It's..it's something that i adore (every single piece in it)! Anyway, as some of you may know i am a huge fan of suits and tuxedos ( and bow ties!!!) and when i saw that 1/3 of the collection is  like that i was so happy! So let me start with my personal favorites and we will move on next:

LOVE,LOVE,LOVE,LOVE this furry jacket (and its colour)!!!!!!

The shoes may seem a little odd to you guys, but when i get to think of it, I actually like them and would buy a pair..maybe..

Ok, so we are done with my favorite part and now it's time to show you just a few pieces that  differ from the others:

And so on...You know, there are like 80 outfits in this collection and i cant show them all to you but if you wanna see them all you can easily go to D&G's site and check them out. Anyway, i don't know if you've noticed but the pieces for the next season are like grouped in a way,so that people with different style can wear clothes from the same collection. There are colourful, elegant and everyday type of clothes in it.

FASHION FREAX

That's the app i was talking about. It's actually quite interesting..NO, it's obsessive! I am there most of the time just looking at new outfits and top outfits and my profile...The idea of this is that people post outfits( with the brand name) and you can comment, like and send friend requests or either buy the same outfit ( though i never actually tried that option)!. It's cool cause there are like a gazillion people downloading photos and you just scroll around liking and commenting (something like facebook). Anyway let me show you a few photos from the app:

Anyway i'm posting a review on Dolce and Gabbana f/w 2011/2012 tonight and man, i'm telling you this collection RULES!! I LOVE EVERYTHING IN IT!! I'll give you a little sneak peek:

How awesome is this?!! I love wearing suits and when i saw the collection i was like YAY!! This is my season!

There are lots of colours too, but you'll see it all tonight..

MISSONI scarf and b-day gift

So, yesterday i promised you that i would post photos of my MISSONI scarf and there they are:

Now, what i am about to show you is like a bonus for today's post. This is what i got for my birthday from a few close family friends and i absolutely love it!

I really like the smell- it's so fresh and is the perfect scent for a hot summer day. I am usually more into heavy perfumes, like the one i am using at the moment ( Gucci- Guilty), but i really like this one and it quickly became my new, favorite perfume.

Anyway, what i got for tomorrow is something really, really interesting and i'm sure that you're gonna love it. It's actually an app i downloaded a few days ago and it's so obsessive. If i have to be honest, i can see that there are a lot of people obsessed with it( don't worry, it's not Angry birds) It's an app, connected with what i love- fashion but you're gonna learn more about it demain soir ( tomorrow evening) ..Until then my sweet chameleons.

YSL scarf

I just had to show this scarf to you guys! I love it because its colours are so damn bright ( j'adore bright colours) and it goes awesome with almost everything!! Thumbs up for YSL!

Story time (part 2)

So, let me continue.
That day was just like every other day except that she bought 'Harper's bazaar'. She was going through the pages, looking at the photos, when suddenly she came across a really interesting article- about MAN REPELLING..something unknown for the girl before. Turned out that 'Man repelling' is something really intriguing..When someone calls a woman a 'MAN REPELLER', they mean that she dresses up too extravagant for a normal guy's taste. That same woman simply loves everything fashion has to offer and prefers being single, to having to dress up in a way she doesn't feel comfortable in, just so a man can percieve her look. WOW, huh!
That same day the girl created her own blog out of a big amount of inspiration.
Well, there you have it folks. If it wasn't for Leandra Medine, i may not have created this blog ( that would be a pity). Now you know how everything started.

PARIS

My sweet chameleons, you don't know how happy i am right now!!!! I just found out that i am leaving for PARIS AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER!!!!!! I am like....i was screaming and crying from happiness when i found out!! I couldn't be any happier! And the best part is that i am going for Paris hair week, taking place in the Louvre!! Ohhh, i promise you guys to take soooo many photos and that i am going to tell you everything later. Au revoir! Oh i forgot to tell you that i am going to post the second part of the story tonight...or tomorrow.

Story time ( part 1 )

Well, i promised you guys that i would publish something special tonight, just a few hours before my birthday... And here i am, thinking about what to post. Many ideas passed through my mind- a post about a famous brand, something about Paris haute couture fashion week, but none of those seemed special enough( because i would usually post something on those subjects). And finally i decided to tell you a story- a story about a girl who used to hate going shopping and never felt the excitement from going to a store, through all of the clothes and just feeling happy by touching the fabrics or seeing the wonderful and colourful palette of garments, that the stores had to offer.
Anyway, one day, just a few months ago that same girl bought 'Book' magazine for the first time in her life- she was just curious. The joy of reading the articles and looking through the pages full of photos from fashion shows made her realize what she had been missing. Turned out that she had it in her- she had loved fashion all along but never really knew it. From then on she became obsessed with this- she loved everything that this world had in it, everything from the crazy and fun 'Betsey Johnson' shows to the elegant and sophisticated 'Armani' runways. She realized that she finally had found something so new and unique and was sure that nothing and no one could make her stop buying the new 'Book' or watching FTV 24/7.
A few weeks later she read an article written by Leandra Medine a.k.a. ' the man repeller'.
That day was just as important for the girl as the day she adimitted her passion for fashion......

Really special post!

YAY!! As sone of you may know tomorrow (10.08) is my b-day and i am sooo excited!! I can't wait! And so, tonight i am going to make a special post, just a few hours before my day starts. Anyway, i just wanted to thank you guys for supporting me through these three months. I want to thank all you sweet chameleons for reading my blog everyday from all over the world. I am proud to say that for 3 months the blog now has readers from more than 13 countries and more than 1000 views!!! Thank you all! Love ya! So, expect an amazing post tonight and be the first to say ' Happy b-day Sophie!'.... Until tonight my beloved fashion chameleons..

Headbands and turbans

This trend became my favorite way to wear your hair after the simple high bun.

Yeah, i admit it..this is how i wear my hair in 90% of the year..But you can't blame me- it takes me 30 sec to make it..As people say "The high bun is the favorite hair style of the lazy women."..quite true

Anyway, headbands come in various colours, with or without feathers, big or small...Without any doubt, you can find whatever style, shape and colour you are looking for quite easily...The craze for headbands for me, began when i started watching the famous "Gossip Girl". Every single girl in that show wore a headband, especially Leighton Meester..Here are some of her looks:

Headbands really suit that girl. She ( or her stylists) know how to wear headbands. FYI i love the huge ones with feathers and other little hanging things.

I forgot to mention what a big fan of butterfly headbands i am...I also loved this Lady Gaga look from the moment i saw it:

I bought a hair bow like this one for a brunette, of course..Well the one i bought is smaller but it looks just as amazing as this one..I wanted to show you guys this really clever headband:

Seriously, how cool is this?!

Anyway, i am going to post a piece on my other fav hair accessory- the TURBAN!!

OK, seriously the turban that we are used to seeing on the catwalk came from this very photo above..So don't panic- the next post is going to be about turbans like those:
